Spring Personnel Conducts Market Research in 2009 Salary Survey
04 Sep 2009 This month, Spring Personnel, sister company to Elizabeth Hunt and a division of international recruiter Spring Group plc, will make available its 2009 salary survey. The survey of over 500 companies provides not only a snapshot of current salaries from across the UK (including administrative and secretarial roles) but also analyses the methods by which these companies have responded to the economic climate over the past 12 months.
The key findings of the survey suggest that despite clear challenges in the market, a healthy proportion of businesses have actually taken strategic advantage of such testing circumstances; positively responding to change, with change.
Steven Kirkpatrick, managing Director of Spring Personnel, commented: ‘One of the most telling results to have emerged from the survey is that salaries, whilst not having risen as in previous years, actually remained constant. This, coupled with the range of incentives that some companies have introduced over the past 12 months, suggests that businesses are recognising their people as a vital asset in the road to recovery.’
